Emilie Taylor

Emilie works as an artist from her studio at Yorkshire Artspace in Sheffield. Her work forms part of both public and private collections and is regularly exhibited throughout the UK.

Emilie has made six new pots for this, her first wholly commissioned exhibition. Three pots are inspired by a girl who played too far out and went under. Three pots are inspired by the girl’s mother, who scoured the earth for her lost daughter. The lost girl pots are flecked with gold. The mother’s pots are the colour of soil.
